After two months without soap (!) I'm back with a new soap!
It contains alkanet and as you can see the same stuff does not give the same color as a function of the mold used ... or at the beginning and end of the cure ... In
individual mold I got the pretty purple I wanted, but in my big pan, the dough was first turned green (from the center, as and when the appearance of a gel phase) . She stayed several hours light green, then darken before gradually becoming gray and dark purple when the lid is removed from the mold ... but by cutting off my soap I discovered that the inside was still green! He said this is gradually becoming purple on the cure.
On the first picture you can see inside the great soap after curing, the second inside before cure! And on the last photo of the pretty purple small soaps.
Morality alkanet do not like the hot and should be renamed "the chameleon pigment" given the speed at which my soap has changed color ...
Recipe:
Outside inclusions (chips my soap almond and hazelnut + melt and for transparent colored purple clay), it contains:
- 135g Olive HV (30%)
- Coco HV 112.5 g (25%)
- Palm HV 90g (20%)
- 45g Macadamia HV (10%)
- 45g alkanet macerate in HV Sunflower (10%)
- 22.5 g stearic acid (5%)
soda for greasing 2% diluted in a maximum volume of whole milk.
At the track:
- 21.2 g HV Sesame
- 10.3 g Preparation for coloring soap alkanet (or greasing a total of 9%)
- 1g Powder iris roots
- 5g Litsée ET Lemon
- 2.5 g ET bitter almond
- 1g Violet overseas (in a small portion of dough)
- 1g titanium dioxide (in a small portion of the dough)
According Soap Calc :
- hardness (29-54): 42
- cleansing (12-22) : 17
- conditionning (44-69) : 52
- bubbly (14-46) : 17
- creamy (16-48) : 25
- iodine (41-70) : 60
INS (136-165) : 153
